Telecommunications Engineer - Contract Position

We are currently seeking a motivated professional to fill the position of Telecommunications Engineer in our St. John's, NL office.

This position is a key technical interface to our customers and suppliers. Your in-depth technical knowledge will be applied to interpret customer needs and to develop customer requirements specifications and cost effective solutions. The job duties include preparation, review and approval of technical documentation such as cost estimates, budgets, schedules, drawings, proposals, specifications and technical reports. Technical sales support, training development and delivery, presentation of materials and customer demonstrations may be required from time to time. Occasional domesic and international travel may be required.

Your professional profile consists of the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience in Telecommunications. Well-developed computer skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Offshore oil and gas experience and experience with ISO9001:2000 systems are definite assets. Candidates must be registered with PEGNL or be eligible for immediate registration.

Telecommunications Technician - Contract Position

We are currently seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join our St. John’s, NL team. Technicians and Technologists must have a diploma in Electrical or Electronics Technology. Well developed computer skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. There may be a requirement for some domestic and international travel and offshore work will be required.

Valid offshore certification and offshore experience is preferred. 3 to 5 years experience in general telecommunications is considered an asset.
